The Real Secret of Wealth

Everyone wants to be “wealthy”.

But what does it really mean to be wealthy?

Here’s the secret: Only YOU know the answer.

Why?

The definition of wealth is different for everyone.

For some, it’ll mean incredible amounts of money. For others, it means having “The House” and “The Cars” etc. For everyone, it likely involves full control over their time and finances.

Regardless of how you define it, I’ll share one principle that will help you achieve the type of wealth you desire.

Get clear on what you want.

What do you want?

Can you see it clearly in your mind?

What do your ideal life and circumstances look like?

How do you feel when you wake up in the morning?

What car(s) are you driving?

How fulfilled do you feel with your purpose and the work you’re doing?

What are the states of your relationships [with family, friends, business partners, etc.]

You should be intimately aware of how you want to feel; what your environment looks, smells, sounds and tastes like.

It may sound crazy, but trust me. As simple as it sounds, the clearer you can be, the more likely you are to get there.

I know this to be true because, for the longest time, I didn’t have a clear vision of what I wanted and where I wanted to go. I hadn’t defined “wealth” for myself.

I still have a ways to go to get vividly clear on what I want, but the more detailed and specific I’ve gotten, the more aligned I’ve felt with my life and my purpose.

As the oft misquote of Cheshire Cat goes: “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there.”

Life, with all its ups and downs and all-arounds, will tend to take you anywhere BUT where you want to go if you’re not clear on what you want.
